We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Supervisor to join our team. This role involves diverse duties every day, including payroll, onboarding, employee relations, and training. The HR Manager will be responsible for managing a variety of HR functions to support our workforce and help foster a supportive culture.
Responsibilities:
+ Payroll Management: Handle payroll every other week on Monday and Tuesday using Paycom (non-union).
+ Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees.
+ Employee Relations: Address employee concerns and foster positive relations.
+ Training: Conduct necessary employee training sessions.
+ Hiring and Firing: Manage the hiring process, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
+ Support: Supervise an HR Generalist (1 direct report) and collaborate with the HR Manager on disciplinary actions.
+ Recruitment: Manage 4-7 requisitions at a time for both hourly and salaried employees.
+ Emergency Response: Be available for after-hour emergency calls related to safety issues as needed.
+ Culture Change: Assist in changing the company culture to be more supportive.
Requirements:
+ Bachelor's degree in related field or 5-10 years of experience within human resources.
+ MUST be bilingual in English and Spanish.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
+ Experience with overseeing 150+ employees.
+ Experience with implementing new policies and procedures.
+ HR certifications are a nice to have.
Office Environment
This is a fully onsite position working 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. There is some flexibility with start and end time but must be requested. Primarily working in an office but requires some presence and work on the manufacturing floor.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $57.69/hr.
