HR Manager- Human Capital - Manufacturing Industry

HUMAN CAPITAL-MANAGER /ASSISTANT MANAGER

Main Job Responsibilities:

1. To handle full spectrum of human resource activities including recruitment & selection, compensation & benefits, employee relations, communications, training & development, counseling and payroll processing;

2. To monitor the human Resources functions at all plants in ensuring the corporate Human Resource Policies and Procedures are implemented;

3. Advice to Top Management in regards to the alignment of human resources initiatives with business objectives.

4. To recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services provided/performed.

5. To direct development and maintenance of human resources information system to ensure accurate record keeping and timely reporting requirements.

6. Responsible for the recruitment process by developing and implementing recruitment planning and strategy to maintain quality throughout the process to ensure the company will able to recruit the right employees from the available market.

7. To lead and manage the Human Resources team in ensuring quality, efficiency and compliance objectives are met;

8. To carry out employee/salary/benefits surveys and advise the Management on compensation trends within the industry and recommend suitable competitive compensation strategies;

9. To prepare documentations on alleged misconduct cases against employees; and to analyze and evaluate reports on disciplinary cases and grievances to make appropriate recommendation to the Management;

10. To liaise with Government departments and agencies pertaining to Malaysia Labour laws, rules and regulations;

11. To assist and advise the HODs and the Management on HR issues at all times;

12. To review the company performance management system in order to maintain consistent quality on HR related measurements such as performance appraisals and to

work with related departments to make sure the employees’ performance meet the management directives;

13. To design, implement and maintain a company-wide training and development system, with a focus on career-long learning in accordance with ISO requirements;

14. To perform any other duties as and when required by the Management.


1. She/he must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree / Professional Degree or Master in Human Resources Management or related discipline.

2. Minimum of 8 years of working experiences in the Human Resources Management areas. Preferences will be given to HR Practitioner.

3. In-depth knowledge on Industrial Relation Act and labor law will be an added advantage.

4. Good communication skills both in written and verbal.

5. Knowledge in ISO will be an added advantage
