The Human Resources Manager will have responsibility for the overall effectiveness of HR Practices and lead associate relations strategies to support the business. Strives for consistency, compliance, innovation, continuous improvement, and resolution of associate relation issues. Ensure development and application of associate engagement action plans & results within the region. Build and maintain solid relationships with business partners at various level of the organization.
Scheduled Days: Monday through Friday
Salary Range: $82,800 to $120,000 annually **** based on skills and qualifications
Responsibilities (May perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned).
+ Partner with Leaders to develop business and people strategies and translate into a 1–2-year road map to achieve desired outcomes.
+ Provides solid counsel to business leaders to identify, understand and influence decisions to promote a ‘win-win’ with positive associate relations while meeting business objectives.
+ Researches, understands, and communicates various laws and legal affairs concerning employment to leaders and direct reports.
+ Advises and trains leaders in best associate relations practices and strategies for managing associate relation issues and recommends or develops training as needed.
+ Investigates hotline and serious associate relations complaints, create recommendations/plans to mitigate risk.
+ Collaborates with legal counsel and other departments in the preparation for and participation in negotiation with associate and labor groups as needed.
+ Oversees the work of any assigned staff, ensures compliance & consistency, trains and conducts performance evaluations and/or coaching that are timely and constructive.
Education & Experience
+ Bachelor’s Degree required, or equivalent work experience, preferably in Human Resources.
+ 5-7 years of experience, at least 2 years in employee relations.
+ Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
+ Ability to develop and mentor others. Leadership skills. Ability to drive strategic direction.
+ Effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to influence others. Project management skills. Creativity. Originality. Initiative and Innovation.
+ Licenses & Certifications: SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.

+ Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
+ Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
+ Work Environment: Generally, works in climate-controlled office environment.
+ Travel: Travel may vary in length and duration.
