The HR Manager will oversee a staff of approx 40 W2’d employees. Duties will include payroll (ADP), payroll deductions, benefit enrollment and assisting employees with benefits questions. Additionally this role reports to the CFO and will provide administrative support on assigned projects.
The HR Manager can expect about 25% recruiting efforts. Individuals with experience engaging both professional engineers and project managers as well as laborers and skilled trade workers is ideal. Applicants with a background as a recruiter or human resources generalist are ideal. This role will include creating and posting open jobs on various job boards. Schedule interviews and coordinate offers. Additionally oversee onboarding of applicants, disciplinary proceedings, promotions and researching competitive salary increases and other retention efforts.
Minimum Requirements:
Must have knowledge of FMLA
Experience handling workers comp claims
Payroll experience is required
Recruiting experience is required

Applicants with a SHRM Certification or degree in Human Resources Management are strongly preferred.
