Job Summary

The HR Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting the administration of Payroll and Total Rewards. The role involves analyzing data, ensuring compliance with regulations and contributing to the development of policies and practices that attract, retain and motivate associates. The incumbent is also responsible for ensuring the accuracy and improving existing payroll and HR operations processes related to outside third-party administrators and with internal departments.

Responsible for monthly/quarterly/annual accounting close requirements for Payroll. Develops, analyzes and provides the summary of budget projections and models around payroll allocations. Reconciles payroll and benefits data, investigates, and resolves discrepancies; and ensures proper documentation and recordkeeping. Generates and distributes periodic financial statistical and operational reports to critical stakeholders such as Accounting and Treasury Reconciliation of GL from payroll to budget accounting Conducts regular audits of benefits and payroll data to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies. Provides support with internal and external payroll and total rewards audits. Responsible for reporting and analyzing compensation and benefits data to support total rewards strategy and delivery. Creates, updates and maintains job descriptions. Coordinates and completes compensation and benefits surveys; presents results and analysis to stakeholders. Responsible for bonus calculations and coordinating payment authorization process. Develops and maintains HR operations policies and process documentation. Monitors compliance with federal and state regulations (e.g. FLSA, ERISA, FMLA, state leave)

 What You’ll Bring- Desired Skills and Experience

Bachelors degree in business with an emphasis in accounting, finance, or economics preferred  1-3 years analytical experience with accounting, compensation, benefits, and/or financial experience preferred

High proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite with a strong background in Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI and Adobe Skills a plus

Previous experience with UKG and KRONOS a plus
