Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time intern for the Human Resource Talent Acquisition Operations Team. In this role, the intern will work alongside a team of preboarding coordinators and contribute to Atlantic’s mission of delivering excellent healthcare services to our communities. The intern’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Coordinate background checks, license & certification verifications, and issue final clearance for assigned functional areas and locations Track and ensure proper medical clearance of new hires Answer phones and questions around access to new hire portal and document upload Coordinate and ensure I-9 Immigration compliance for all new hires Ensure a great experience for internal transfers and completion of their onboarding process into the new role Partner with and manage alerts and communications on every new hire with ISS, EPIC, Nursing Ed, Recruiting, Talent Management and Security Ensuring that all activities conform to local, federal, industry and company standards Identifying and resolving any problems in the production process
