We are seeking an experienced HRBP to lead and deliver human resource services and initiatives for our Coslada and Tarragona sites, which employs ~400 people. As part of the HR team Spain, the HR Partner, Specialized Care will be involved in the full scope of Human Resources activities across our Spanish sites.This will involve challenging projects that will provide personal growth, development, demonstration of strategic capability, and exposure to, and engagement with, key senior business leaders.
This role reports into Regional HR manager, South Europe.


Please note this is a temporary contract.
 
Your responsibilities:


•    Lead local labor relations, including unions and work councils, and ensure flawless execution of specific global and local projects.
•    Optimize human capital by ensuring organizational structure and design is in alignment with business needs.
•    Partner with all levels of people managers to provide professional-level consulting and decision- making support for all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
•    Practice and demonstrate a high level of competence and professional HR knowledge, tactical skills and expertise.
•    Provide coaching and counsel on performance, compensation, career development, etc. that aligns to and supports business strategy and attainment of objectives
•    Effectively guide leaders through difficult situations, employee relations and conflict 
•    Ask critical questions in order to evaluate situation and provide guidance
•    Help identify and develop talent by ensuring clear development and succession plans are in place
•    Effectively and efficiently navigate complex global organizations to resolve issues
•    Support site-level employee engagement initiatives including survey participation; drive employee and manager accountability for plans to monitor and improve engagement.


Requirements:


•    At least 10 years prior HR Business partnership, ideally in a multinational, industrial and matrix environment
•    Depth of knowledge in Spanish employment law, labor relations and negotiations.
•    Strategic thinking to anticipate challenges and address issues that benefit the organization, enhance the organization, or resolve potential problems
•    Ability to understand the need for change and adapt to change.
•    Strong consultative skills and ability to influence without direct authority
•    Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws and regulations 
•    Exceptional customer service, emotional intelligence and empathy 
•    High level of personal integrity, and the ability to professionally handle confidential matters.
•    Superior professional presence, maturity and the ability to interact effectively with senior management. Experience in working with manufacturing, engineering, or sales teams.
•    Required: Working knowledge of workday and case management tool. 
•    Fluent English and Spanish language skills, both written and spoken.


Preferred Experience:

A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management would be preferred, but a combination of great practical experience, professional HR will be favorably considered.
