Job Title: HR & Payroll Specialist

The HR & Payroll Specialist position supports all Human Resources operations as well as the administration of Payroll.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Follows ASM Global Human Resources policies to assure compliance with legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resource functions.Maintains compliance with state and local regulations concerning employment.Processes Payroll using ABI Mastermind and ADP systems; maintains payroll files.Administers various Human Resources plans and procedures for all facility personnel.Tracks attendance for employees and accurately carries out attendance and sick time policies.Performs recruitment activities, writes and places advertisements, recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions tracks hiring progression.Works with hiring managers to conduct new employee orientations; creates and maintains confidential employee files and completes Form I-9 for all new employees.Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and 401k, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, programs, and payroll.Administers benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.Coordinates with the corporate HR team and venue managers to administer progressive discipline, final written warnings and prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.Reports Worker’s Compensation and patron injuries to company insurance carrier.May require the ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in addition to normal business hours.Education and/or Experience
Minimum Education Level: High School Diploma or its equivalency (Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred)2+ years of related work experience in Human ResourcesCombination of education and experience may be acceptedKnowledge, Skills & Abilities
