What You'll Do

As a Global HR Projects & Change Lead you will be responsible for supporting and progressing a critical part of our HR Operations change agenda to further enable BCG to serve its employees with a best-in-class people-first HR organization. You will analyze data from Workday and other systems to build a baseline understanding of BCG’s HR function and People topics, supporting multiple teams. You will also project manage and execute workstreams in challenging projects and collaborate with HR, People, Global and Regional HR teams, and our specialty and core business partners and global functions (e.g., HRIS, Finance, Legal, etc).

 

Our global change agenda spans various human capital interventions critical to meeting our fast-growing firm and aggressive business objectives in an increasingly digitally enabled yet highly people centric environment.

YOU’RE GOOD AT

 

To be successful in this role, there are a few key areas where you will need to excel:

Data analysis using Excel (Alteryx and/or Tableau skills a plus) and being comfortable and confident in working with large data sets (e.g. headcount reporting, people metrics, etc.), being able to create reports and drive to insight.Basic project management, which ensures project activities are up-to-date, being tracked, trade-offs are considered if dates move, risks are elevated, etc. This includes managing the details and ensuring nothing gets lost or overlooked.Communications - both verbal and written, esp. Microsoft PowerPoint skills. Supporting HR Change projects requires creating effective stories, so you will need to translate your analysis to graphs and visuals as well as QA work done by others on the team.Being self-effective and resourceful, with a strong drive and initiative to build your role. You are a problem solver and forward thinker who doesn’t just address the immediate ask, but can understand it and any implications in light of the broader effort.Focusing on the outcome the team needs to deliver while using good judgment to prioritize requests and advise the team when / if activities are not aligning to the outcome we need to achieve.Teaming virtually. The team is geographically spread across the US, UK and Europe.

What You'll Bring

You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or a related field.You are passionate about data and analysis, having worked with multiple complex data setsYou will bring relevant project coordination experience preferably working in a team delivering global organization change effortsStrong organizational skills and an ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize them, and carry them out independentlyClear and concise written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively tailor to your audienceAdvanced skills in MS Excel as well as PowerPoint; familiarity with Trello and Slack a plus.
