HR Project Specialist
Position Summary:
The Project Specialist is responsible for executing defined HR initiatives. Under the direction of the Manager – HR Initiatives, this role regularly interfaces with cross functional leadership and enterprise teams to provide appropriate engagement and effective communication. Additional responsibilities include defining project plans and management of project deliverables.

Major Responsibilities:
•    Project Definition and Completion: In collaboration with HR team leads, develop project plans and timelines to achieve key project outcomes within the identified timeframe. This role is responsible for monitoring completion of deliverables for defined HR projects and ensuring that the project remains on schedule. Flexibility will be required to modify project direction if required by competing priorities.
•    Meeting Facilitation: Facilitate project team meetings with cross functional HR and enterprise team members for the purpose of documenting progress, assigning tasks, and maintaining progress towards key deadlines.
•    Project Documentation: Develop and maintain project documentation repository for use by all Project Management team members. Repository will be a resource for documenting completed and in progress projects and communications.
•    Other projects and responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Communication, Human Resources, Change Management required
•    Certifications in Project Management or Design Communications preferred
•    Minimum of 2 years of HR experience with experience supporting projects
•    Strong organization, communication, and project planning skills required
•    Ability to manage competing priorities
•    Ability to prioritize based on importance
•    Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
•    Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
