Job Summary:
The Hourly Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring hourly employees for our facility. This position will require on-site presence to effectively manage the recruitment process and ensure a seamless candidate experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-volume recruiting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
Responsibilities:
Sourcing and Recruitment: Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified hourly candidates. Utilize various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, employee referrals, and community partnerships. Conduct initial phone screens and in-person interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit. Candidate Management: Maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for current and future openings. Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates. Provide timely and constructive feedback to candidates throughout the recruitment process. Onboarding: Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including coordinating orientation sessions and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed. Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to ensure a smooth transition for new employees. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies and legal requirements. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions and recruitment metrics. Prepare and present regular reports on recruitment activities and outcomes. Collaboration: Work closely with HR team members and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. Participate in job fairs, community events, and other recruitment activities to promote the company and attract talent.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in high-volume recruiting, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and employment laws. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Work Environment:
This position will require an on-site presence at our facility.
