This position will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process, ensuring smooth onboarding and offboarding, handling benefits administration, and supporting HRIS functions. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a passion for recruiting in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. The main responsibility of the Recruiter is to coordinate high volume recruitment activities, and full life cycle human resources initiatives. Manage applicant flow, disposition candidates and document applicants appropriately in ATS (JOBVITE).Key Responsibilities: Recruitment and Hiring: High volume recruiting, full life cycle recruiting for drivers primarily, other positions as assigned.Develop and implement strategies to attract qualified candidates, including posting jobs on relevant platforms, conducting interviews, and working closely with the hiring managerManage relationships with recruitment agencies and other external partnersConduct pre-employment screenings, employment verification checks, and background investigationsCollaborate with management to forecast recruitment needs based on workforce planningFull-Cycle Human Resources Support: Coordinates the hiring process including candidate screening, hiring, new employee set-up, payroll.Handle onboarding processes, including preparation of new hire documentation, orientation, and training schedulesManage offboarding processes, ensuring compliance with policies and handling exit interviewsAdminister employee benefits, including enrollment, changes, and employee inquiriesAddress employee relations issues and provide HR support to managers as neededPhone screening and in person interviewing of high-volume applicantsManaging on site career events/job fairsLocal travel to provide outreach in the communityHRIS Management: Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS (ADP or equivalent)Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of employee dataGenerate reports on recruitment metrics, turnover, and other HR data for management reviewAnswer employee questions regarding forms and procedures and refer to specialist as neededGathers information for departmental reportsAssists with the understanding of human resource policies and proceduresMaintains confidentiality of all information.Compliance and Policy Implementation: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws and company policiesMaintain an up-to-date understanding of labor laws affecting the transportation industryAssist in updating and enforcing HR policies and proceduresAll duties relating to HR compliance and other tasks assigned by immediate managerCollaboration and Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with department heads and operational leadersPartner with the broader HR team to ensure consistency in HR practices and to contribute to the overall success of HR initiativesQualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, such as GED, required.1 to 3 years of relevant human resources experience in recruiting and HR Generalists functions Experience with full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and HRIS Understanding of employment laws and regulationsWorking knowledge and proficiency with ATS (JOBVITE), Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointStrong understanding of federal and state labor lawsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of professionalismAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentStrong written and oral communication skills; strong presentation skillsATS, HRIS & ADP experience is a plusMust have the ability to establish and maintain good working relationshipsRequires the ability to work amid interruptions and the ability to prioritize and deal with time pressuresBilingual English and Spanish a plusMay work occasional weekends for job fairs and other assignments   Preferred Qualifications:Experience in the transportation industry or high-volume hiring environmentKnowledge of the Transdev organization or similar transportation logistics companiesBenefits:Competitive salary and benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insuranceOpportunities for growth and advancement within TransdevEmployee development and training programs The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
