Overview

This Position is Based in Knoxville, TN

Melaleuca Inc. is seeking an experienced HR Recruiting Coordinator for an immediate opening to join our fast-growing and exciting organization. Reporting to the Senior HR Manager of Knoxville, the HR Recruiting Coordinator is a key role in the Knoxville Human Resource organization.  The successful candidate will be responsible for hourly recruiting at our Forks of The River manufacturing and distribution center including sourcing, screening, interviewing, recommending the hiring of applicants, and making job offers. This position is involved in developing and implementing programs designed to enhance the recruiting process, working closely with hiring managers to meet operational needs, and preparing personnel files and documentation for new team members as part of their onboarding. 

 Great Starting Pay - $18.00/Hr. - $20.00/Hr. DOELongevity Bonus (5 Yrs./$5000, 10 Yrs./$10,000, 15 Yrs./$15,000, etc.) Company Profit Sharing (After 6 Mo of F/T Employment) – Quarterly Payments Based on Longevity, Pay Rate and Company ProfitabilityPerformance Based Pay Reviews At 6 Months and 18 Months, then every 12 Months thereafterMonthly voucher equal to $100/month value - $1,200/year towards free company products from our retail store including items such as soap, shampoo, laundry products, household cleaning products, and personal care productsCompany Sponsored Team Member Appreciation Events (Christmas Party, Company Picnic, Tailgate Party, Cook Outs, Etc.)

Responsibilities

As the HR Recruiting Coordinator you will support the HR Business Partners in the manufacturing and distribution centers for all aspects of hourly recruitment and onboarding and will provide support as needed for team member appreciation events.

 

Specific duties for the HR Recruiting Coordinator include:

Screens and reviews applications and resumes, selects appropriate applicants for interviews, conducts interviews, schedules interviews with managers, recommends hiring of applicants, and makes job offersDevelops and implements programs and operating practices or procedures for the recruiting process within provisions of applicable law and company processes and policiesCoordinates recruiting functions (i.e., planning with management, scheduling interviews, background and reference checks, additional interviews, job offers and all other employment needs.)Coordinates with hiring managers and all departments regarding employment needsContributes to the creation and implementation of company recruitment plans to include cultivation of sources, design and placement of advertisements, etc.Conducts job analysis to identify requirements and ensure quality candidates to meet the needs of each positionAssists with internal and external Career Fairs as neededPerforms special projects as assigned by collecting, analyzing, and presenting data, and by recommending a course of actionSupports the HR Team in the planning, coordination and management of all Knoxville based team member events including but not limited to: annual employee meeting, company picnic and company holiday partyWorks closely with the manufacturing and distribution center HR Business Partners and Sr. HR Manager to improve employer-team member relationships, build morale, and increase productivity

Specific requirements for the HR Recruiting Coordinator include:

One or more years of progressive HR experience - experience in hourly recruiting for a distribution center or manufacturing setting preferredWorking Knowledge of Federal and Tennessee labor and wage lawsStrong organizational and prioritization skills; must be able to manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skills; with the ability to communicate clearly and appropriately to all audiencesAbility to be a trusted advisor and advocate for all team members while supporting the Company’s objectives
