HR Senior Coordinator

The salary range for this role is:

$21.43 - $34.24

Responsibilities:

Under direction, responsible for providing exceptional service to all Employees and Business Partners in support of functional Human Resources Operations within a Food Manufacturing Plant. Ensures accurate and timely delivery of HR Services and collaborates with key stakeholders to enable a positive employment environment. Key responsibilities for compliance and recordkeeping, including Attendance Management, Employee Benefits, and Employee Relations.

Provides all employees with prompt and efficient attention for all Human Resources inquiries.Thoroughly researches and answers all Employee Inquiries, Employees Relations Reports, and responds to employee requests while employing an exceptional customer service demeanor.Tracks and Coordinates all Paid Time Off requests for hourly employees (Vacation, Bereavement, Holiday, Jury Duty, Other Leaves, etc.). Ensures all eligibility guidelines are met; processes timely and accurate payments. Resolve all employee issues related to Paid Time Off Requests inquiries.Accurately tracks attendance to ensure timely enforcement of attendance policies. Generates Disciplinary Actions in accordance with Attendance Control Program.Responsible for all Daily Auditing of Exceptions in Timekeeping System to ensure proper recordkeepingCollaborates cross-functionally to ensure reliable and auditable data is provided to business partners, as required.Supports HR Supervisor in all Leave Management activities to ensure regulatory compliance.Coordinates all responses to Employee Issue Statements, under direction of the Sr HR Manager/HR Supervisor.Responds to all Verification of Employment Requests. Reviews and completes all EDD claims forms and Benefit Audits and State Disabilities Insurance Benefits claims. Assists with all phone calls from EDD/CA-SDI representatives in regard to any employee and State Disability questions.Assists with Employees Scheduling activities when necessary; including, calling for employees for work schedule, calling to advise of lay-off, rescheduling employees in response to Operational Manning changes.Work in conjunction with HR Supervisor on Bargaining Agreement execution (i.e. Seniority, Status Attainment, Benefits Eligibility & Reporting).Assist with Recruitment for seasonal and hourly workforce, i.e., onboarding, new hire orientation, data entry of new hire information, etc.Assist with Yearly HR Activities, including, Seasonal Employee Registration, Annual Training, and Seasonal New Hire Processing. Help ensure compliance with recordkeeping requirements. Assist with employee engagement and employee recognition activities. Expertly leverage applicable HRIS Applications to execute against job responsibilities. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science Degree in applicable major.Minimum 3 years experience.Non-degreed candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of directly-related work experience in lieu of formal education.Working knowledge of applicable Local, State & Federal Employment Regulations.Excellent communication skills.Proven ability to handle multiple projects and priorities at one timeStrong PC-skills relating to spreadsheet, database and word processing programs.Experience with applicable HRIS Applications (HCM, Timekeeping, Attendance).Excellent communication skills.Proven problem-solving skills and strong data analytics skills requiredStrong work ethic with proven ability to work with deadlines and commitment.Capable of handling multiple tasks on a daily basis when requiredAbility to work in cross-functional teams and coordinate well with others
