Overview We are seeking an HR Service Center Specialist to support our offices with HR administrative and operational questions. Please see position details below: This hybrid position requires candidates to have reliable transportation to commute to our Headquarters in Rolling Meadows, IL. All necessary equipment, including an onsite computer terminal and remote setup, will be provided; candidates must ensure they have a high-speed internet connection. Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time. How you'll make an impact Respond to employee requests and inquiries. Process employee transactions. Answers questions regarding employee benefit plans. Leads input of information into Oracle to support all employee changes and transactions, responsible for integrity of data within Oracle database. Responsible for providing first level response to HR tool, process, and program questions and issues. Partners closely with the team supervisor to support day-to-day operations and acts as a point of escalation for peers. Identifies areas for process improvement. Maintaining the team’s Knowledge Base and cascading all process changes to the team. Facilitate new hire and ongoing team trainings. May provide clerical/administrative support to one or more functional areas of Human Resources, such as recruitment and staffing, personnel records, employee or labor relations, compensation, benefits, and/or learning & development. Processes various applications, employment, enrollment, pay change, informational and other confidential forms and records. Gathers information and prepares reports. Maintains and distributes as appropriate, current employee information, policy and procedure manuals and other communications. Upholds service level agreement metrics regarding commitments to problem resolution timeframes and handles service tickets through fulfillment. About You Required: Minimum of 2 years of experience in position or specialization, supporting HR programs and processes. Minimum of high school diploma. Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook. Must have prior experience completing transactions in HR Systems. Highly Preferred: Experience and/or foundational knowledge of various HR Processes and Programs. Experience within an HR Shared Services model. Experience with acting as a point of escalation or team lead. Experience with various HRIS, Oracle preferred. Experience with Help Desk technologies, such as a ticketing tool and call center phone system. Experience within a Call Center environment. Behaviors: Skilled in technology and process improvement. Comfortable with learning new technology and tools. Able to adapt to changing requirements and environment. Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills. Intrapersonal skills across various audiences. Good judgment and critical thinking. Ability to lead peers and act as a point of escalation.
