The **HRSD (HR Service Delivery) Consultant** is responsible for the end-to-end functionality of the employee service center technologies including ticketing, knowledge bases, and chat. The HRSD Consultant has in-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform solutions and related HCM technologies that support the employee service center. The HRSD Consultant position is a key HR solutions support team member responsible for leading activities related to the overall system design, configuration, and testing for ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD). In addition, they lead efforts in ongoing system maintenance/upgrades. In Partnering closely with the internal technical teams, HR process owners, vendors, and end users, the HRSD expert will research and drive innovative initiatives to enhance the ServiceNow products and tools aligning business strategy.
**Job Responsibilities:**
**Ensuring a connected experience across HCM solutions**
Lead the enterprise-wide overall functional delivery of solutions utilizing ServiceNow HRSD alongside other integrated HCM applications. Drive the ongoing success of HR COEs business processes and people solution activities by ensuring the ServiceNow functionality aligns with enterprise strategies.
+ Lead efforts to enhance the platform completing requirements gathering, functional designs, configuration, testing, deployment, and operational support activities in support of the HR Service Delivery module in ServiceNow.
+ Collaborate with project managers business analysts and other stakeholders to ensure timely and successful delivery of ServiceNow HRSD solutions
+ Delivery a consumer grade experience thru the employee center via dynamic targeted content, timely catalog and knowledge articles, and innovative designs.
+ Maintain a high-level of understanding regarding functionality and features and perform needed research with other industry leading organizations to ensure alignment with vendor roadmaps and industry trends.
+ Provide leadership and guidance in support of outstanding issues and requests with vendors.
+ Support efforts to ensure up-to-date documentation on functionality and experience through job aids, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
**Partnering & Collaboration**
+ Develop and maintain effective working relationships with HCM support team, HR COE’s, IT and key stakeholders across Southern Company aligning the HRSD system design and functionality for current and future business drivers.
+ Employ effective communication and feedback mechanisms designed to engage employees and maximize information exchange.
**Qualifications:**
**Minimum**
+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology or Business-related degree preferred
+ 5+ years supporting enterprise-wide HR technology solutions preferred
+ 3+ years with ServiceNow HRSD configuration experience with a clear understanding on current end-to-end functionality as well as the vendor roadmap.
+ Experience with HR Technology integrations and implementations.
**Preferred**
+ Experience configuring and improving automated workflows to streamline key employee lifecycle events such as onboarding, transfers and offboarding
+ Experience integrating between ServiceNow and third-party systems, tools, or data sources in both directions with an understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and Integration Hub
+ Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, Javascript, AngularJS and experience building custom widgets
+ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
+ Ability to work independently or as part of a team
+ Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
+ Experience with Agile development methodologies
+ Strong interpersonal skills to effectively build relationships and influence across organizational boundaries.
