HR Services Coordinator

The HR Services Coordinator provides client-focused, responsive, and consistent HR services to employees.  This role operates largely as the first point of contact for all HR-related questions and support, and collaborates effectively with our HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), in order to execute tasks and provide best in class service to our team members.  The HR Services Coordinator integrates efficiently with team members internally and externally in order to maintain superior knowledge of HR processes, procedures, and policies.  The HR Services Coordinator has frequent interaction with new and existing employees; and is expected to contribute to a positive experience and first impression.

Essential Functions:

Serve as the first point of contact for all HR requests and inquiries while managing and triaging responses via the HR case management system within HR ServiceNow, in a timely and accurate manner. Responsible for accurately process HR-related information with confidentiality. Assist employees and managers with Employee Self-Service and Manager Self-Service functions in the core HR system, Oracle HCM. Process employee changes, corrections, and department transfers in Oracle HCM Complete I-9 re-verification for all temporary work authorization extension renewals. Maintain and processes unemployment claims in collaboration with our 3rd party unemployment vendor. Process retiree and HR team members cruise requests. Provide insight on opportunities for process improvement and actively participate in a variety of projects to improve the existing overall HR function Perform other duties as assigned/requested

Qualifications:

Associate’s Degree/Bachelor’s degree a Plus in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other relevant field HR Certification a plus Human Resources or Customer Service experience required. Min 2 years in a customer service role is preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Visio; Comfortable learning new systems and technology. Ability to work in a case management system majority of the time; in addition to being on the phone Demonstrates patience and willingness to help. Flexibility in response to unexpected situations. Demonstrates sound judgment. Ability to work flexible hours as required by business or hiring needs

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Strong communication (written and verbal), organizational skills, attention to detail, good business acumen and time management skills are required. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. The ability to effectively interact with employees and managers at all levels.  A high level of discretion with confidentiality is critical.  Excellent follow-up skills and problem solving abilities

Physical Demands:  Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time. 

Travel: None or very little travel

Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. 

 

This position is classified as “in-office.”  As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Tuesday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Mondays and Fridays.  Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
