HR Shared Services Specialist (Grove City Location - PART TIME)

JOB SUMMARY

This job works on the change management and key strategic initiatives for the HR Shared Services supporting AHN facilities and employees.  The incumbent plays different potential roles on a given project, to include elements of project management, problem-solving, communications planning, and implementation activities. The incumbent plays a central role in the execution of educating and coaching employees on the HR self-service tools and initiatives. Supports AHN employees who need assistance with day-to-day HR transactions by providing guidance and resources on various HR processes/procedures. The incumbent will champion HR initiatives through effective change management, enhance employee experience and interactions with HR, and conduct educational sessions for employees on common self-service tools. The incumbent is responsible for employment compliance specifically related to hospital regulatory audits/surveys, I-9 compliance and licensure/certifications compliance.  


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Creates and assess solutions based on employee needs to help guide employees with general HR inquiries, provide resolution to routine issues and escalation to the next level of service as needed. Partners with leadership to develop and support engagement/communication plan, training and development plans to support employee self-service efforts. Develops and curates content for online self-services and training. Plans and develops events, such as networking and training sessions. Increase the knowledge and usage of HR self-service tools available through HR Services by providing hands-on education to employees through department meetings, open office hours/tabling at the facility or other various training methods.  Be a change agent of HR operational processes and process improvements to create a positive employee experience.   Participates in specific projects to support the HR Shared Services model including: monitoring the compliance of particular HR processes, related to employment records,     I-9 verification, licenses and certification requirements. Partnering with Talent Engagement Partners with regulatory audits (Joint Commission, Department of Health, etc.); gathering and coordinated required HR documentation from various sources within HR i.e. license and certifications, working with department managers and other resources as needed to successfully prepare necessary documentation for audits in a time sensitive manner.    Support local Employee Engagement Councils and Talent Engagement Partners with employee engagement events increasing employee engagement within the facility.  Other duties as assigned or requested.


EDUCATION


Required

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or another related field
