The HR Specialist is responsible for managing complete payroll process and overseeing the comprehensive employee life cycle such as pre-onboarding, onboarding, offboarding, employee confirmations, drafting employee letters, conducting surveys, attending audits and supporting employee communications.
This position reports to the Head of HR, LIS and is part of the Human Resources Department located in Singapore and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for:
+ Payroll Management: Oversee and manage the complete payroll process for Leica Instruments (Singapore), Leica Microsystems (Singapore) sales unit and Leica Biosystems Singapore and ensuring timely and accurate payment to all employees. Liaise with payroll outsource vendor to ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Maintain and update payroll records. Prepare Finance reports. Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly. Attend to internal and external payroll audits. Stay informed about changes in payroll regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
+ Employee Life Cycle Management: Coordinate new associates pre-onboarding and onboarding process, support in new associate orientation and induction programs, manage offboarding process, oversee probationary review and ensure timely employee confirmations, draft various employee letters, complete government related surveys, attend to audits, maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation in p-file, support in employee communications such as update notice boards, draft and send emails as well as address employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
+ General HR Support: Assist in HR events and any other ad hoc duties/projects as assigned.
The essential requirements of the job include:
a) Professional Experience
+ Strong knowledge of payroll practices, CPF & IRAS regulations and Employment Act.
+ Proficient in Microsoft excel and words
b) Education
+ Diploma. Preferably a minimum of 3 years of experience in HR, with focus on payroll and employee life cycle management.
