Description
Our client, a leading biotech firm, is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced HR Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing HR-related duties in areas such as recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and policy implementation.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, application screening, coordinating interviews, and managing the onboarding process.
+ Administer various HR plans and procedures for all company personnel.
+ Process, verify, and maintain personnel-related documentation, including employment contracts, employee leaves, or staffing.
+ Implement and update compensation program; rewrite job descriptions as necessary.
+ Administer benefits programs such as life, health, and dental insurance; pension plans; vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
+ Develop, recommend, and implement personnel policies and procedures.
+ Conduct new-employee orientations to foster a positive attitude toward company goals.
+ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Requirements
+ Proven experience as an HR Specialist or similar role.
+ Familiarity with labor laws and HR best practices.
+ Knowledgeable in all areas of human resources.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS, and comfortable with leveraging new systems.
+ Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Education and Experience: A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field with a minimum of 2 years experience as an HR Specialist is preferred.
