HR Specialist
Description We are seeking an HR Specialist to become a part of our team in the Government Consulting industry based in Mclean, Virginia. The role offers a long term contract employment opportunity, primarily focusing on full cycle benefits administration. As an HR Specialist, you will work in collaboration with HR and payroll teams, showcasing your tech-savvy skills and expertise in benefits administration. Responsibilities: • Administering benefits for Family and Medical Leave (FML), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Leave of Absence (LOA), and military leave. • Collaborating with HR and payroll teams to ensure smooth operations. • Utilizing ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now for various HR tasks. • Employing ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode for effective communication. • Managing CRM systems for maintaining customer relationships. • Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance and accuracy. • Administering Employee Benefits - ERISA effectively. • Managing accommodations as per ADA guidelines. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources within the government consulting industry. • Proficient in using ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now for efficient HR management. • Experience with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, essential for seamless communication and data transfer. • Skilled in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) to enhance relationships with potential and existing employees. • Demonstrated ability in auditing, ensuring compliance with regulations and identifying areas of improvement. • Experience in Benefits Administration, managing employee benefits and ensuring adherence to policies. • Knowledge of Employee Benefits - ERISA (Employee Retirement Income Security Act), crucial for managing retirement benefits. • Familiarity with FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) and managing Leave of Absence, ensuring employee rights are upheld. • Proficiency in Ada programming language, advantageous for automation and system improvement. • Experience in managing ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) Accommodations, ensuring workplace inclusivity and compliance with laws.
