HR Specialist -Pittsburgh Mercy

Key Responsibilities:
Weekly Orientation: Conduct informative and engaging weekly orientation sessions for new employees, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of our company culture, policies, and procedures.
Customer Service Focus: Provide exceptional customer service to all employees, answering questions, addressing concerns, and fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
Documentation and Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with all relevant HR laws and regulations.
Onboarding Support: Assist in the onboarding process, including paperwork completion, benefits enrollment, and coordination with various departments to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
Benefits Administration: Educate employees on our comprehensive benefits package, assist with benefit enrollment, and serve as a point of contact for benefits-related inquiries.
HR Policies: Promote and enforce company HR policies and procedures to ensure a harmonious and compliant workplace.
Reporting: Generate and maintain HR reports and metrics to track key performance indicators and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Human Resources or related field preferred.1-2 years experience in employee relations, recruitment, or customer serviceMust have experience in Microsoft Office products, be detail-oriented, and enjoy handling multiple tasks.Act 33/34 and FBI clearancesPre-employment drug screenExceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
WORK SCHEDULE: This is an Non-Exempt (hourly) position.
