General Summary:

Performs a variety of functions for Dallas Area Rapid Transit's (DART) Human Resources Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.

Partners with other recruiters, Talent leadership, and hiring managers to develop a pipeline of candidates.

Assists in the development and implementation of complex hiring initiatives in support of the Agency's Human Resources needs.

Reconciles and audits various Human Resources data to ensure compliance and control measures are maintained.

Assists with the development and implementation of policies and procedures consistent with agency and departmental goals.

Prepares and maintains files related to Talent Acquisition.

Prepares a variety of reports for management review.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Note: An equivalent combination of related education and experience may be substituted for the below stated minimums excluding High School Diploma, GED, Licenses, or Certifications.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Human Capital/Resources, Industrial Psychology, or related field. Human resources certifications are preferred.

Three (3) years progressively responsible experience in Human Capital or related field to include experience with one of the following HC suites (Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Learning and Organizational Development, Compensation, HRIS) with knowledge of human resources principles and practices; federal, and state rules and regulations. Talent Acquisition experience to include use of Social Media is preferred.Pass a physical (medical) examination that includes a drug screen in order to operate DART non-revenue vehicles.Proficiency with personal computer (PC) and software applications to include Windows, spreadsheet, word processing and database. Familiarity with Application Tracking Systems Preferred. Workday is most ideal.Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect. Ability to be dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers. WORKING CONDITIONS:

Works in an environment where there is minimum exposure to dust, noise, or temperature. May be moderately exposed to unpleasant working conditions to include dust, noise, temperature, weather, petroleum products, and chemicals while visiting DART's operating facilities, assuming incumbent is observing all policies and procedures, safety precautions and regulations, and using all protective clothing and devices provided.
