**HR Specialist II**
**Location:** Wentzville, MO
**Salary:** $75,000 - $85,000 (Based on Experience)
**Job Type:** Direct Hire (Depending on Skill Set and Experience)
**Shift Availability:** Must be available for off-shift hours
**About the Role:**
We are seeking an experienced **HR Specialist II** to oversee daily human resources functions and support key HR initiatives. This role is critical in ensuring smooth HR operations, including employee relations, compliance, payroll, benefits administration, and talent acquisition. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Oversee daily HR functions and serve as a resource for employees.
+ Explain company policies, benefits, and procedures to employees and applicants.
+ Manage all aspects of FMLA administration, from application to ongoing compliance.
+ Maintain employee records, including hiring, absences, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
+ Process payroll, resolve timekeeping discrepancies, and manage employee status changes using Kronos and HR Service Center.
+ Assist with talent acquisition, including recruiting, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
+ Develop and implement cost-saving HR strategies.
+ Communicate policy updates and procedural changes to employees.
+ Conduct new hire orientation and employee training on compliance, safety, and workplace policies.
+ Handle confidential employee matters with professionalism and discretion.
**Qualifications:**
+ **Education:** Bachelor's or Master’s degree required.
+ **Experience:** 2-4 years of HR experience (flexibility to interview and assess based on skills).
+ **Technical Skills:** Experience with HR software (Kronos, SuccessFactors), Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint.
+ **Soft Skills:** Strong ability to multi-task, excellent communication skills, and a detail-oriented mindset.
