HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your Role: 

 Provides high-level professional support to HR/Compensation Analyst, employees, and management. 

Serves as a resource to HR/Compensation Analyst, employees, and management regarding salary programs, compensation policies, and practices.  Partners closely with HR and organization leaders to review and process compensation requests.  Anticipates and plans for long-term HR and organizational needs and trends, providing guidance and recommending changes related to policies and practices.  Identifies opportunities and implements process improvements.  Provides timely and accurate data analyses/analytics to Management and others that will assist with identifying and providing context and support for strategic initiatives.Conducts job analyses and market studies for positions throughout the organization.  Creates, revises, reviews, and audits job descriptions for accuracy and consistency.  Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Required Education:  

Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field. HR may accept directly related professional work experience in lieu of the required education on a year to year basis. Experience accepted in lieu of education will not be applied to the minimum experience level required below (i.e., the same experience will not be counted twice).

Preferred Education:

Master's degree in HR, business, or related field. 

Required Experience:  

Four (4) years of directly related professional work experienceKnowledge of compensation and core HR practices. Familiarity with the company’s (or a similar) human resources information system (HRIS).Intermediate to advanced Microsoft (MS) Word proficiency.Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, v-lookup, and data reporting).Thrive in a fast-paced work environment with quickly changing business needs.Display a professional demeanor in difficult and challenging situations. Display a “team player” attitude and serve as a role model/example to managers, peers, and the organization.

Preferred Experience:

Prior experience in healthcare.

Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) from World at Work

Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI)

Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from HRCI

Society for Human Resource Management-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and/or Society for Human Resource Management-Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM
