HR Training Intern/Learning and Development

The HR Training Intern will support Community Housing Innovations (CHI) projects within our department through data gathering and analysis and/or providing administrative support. Support and organize training functions, learning sessions, and meetings while developing skills and knowledge in the field. Work with the Training Director and Training Specialist to contribute ideas, offer insights, and collaborate on tasks or projects. Complete tasks and meet deadlines based on responsibilities. Possess efficient problem-solving skills along with strong organizational abilities. Has the ability to prepare reports, presentations, or documentation based on their assigned projects or tasks. Networking: Engage with professionals within the company, attending networking events, and building connections for future career opportunities. Professional verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Nice to have.

Strong interest in human resources, learning and development, talent management, or related fields. Computer software knowledge Microsoft Tools (Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, etc.). Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (ability to use basic formulas & functions, cell referencing, data sorting & filtering, charts & graphs, Pivot Tables, conditional formatting, importing & exporting data, etc.) Knowledge of Learning Management Systems a plus Knowledge in video editing a plus
