The role 

Our EMEA Human Resources team is currently seeking a dedicated HR Business Partner with experience in a business facing advisory role. This will be based in our Utrecht office (we operate under a hybrid approach of 2 days in the office), reporting to the Southern HR Director and providing People business support to Country Manager in BeNe, serving a client base of some 200+ employees.

The ideal individual will have a collaborative and positive approach. This role will require occasional travel to other offices across Belgium and Netherlands eg Brussels and Antwerp.

Our work includes supporting the development and implementation of the Business Unit’s People Plan; being the subject matter expert on all complex employee relation; leading in collaboration with managers the local Talent Development agenda (Talent review, succession plannings…); coaching managers to have effective conversations and create/maintain a high-performance culture; supporting the business with engagement, retention, wellbeing and DEI&B initiatives; developing L&D initiatives in line with Group and BU strategy; collaborating in workforce planning and resourcing; managing annual salary review & bonus process and mentoring junior members of the HR team.

You will demonstrate a broad HR experience as HRBP; fluency in English; empathy with excellent listening, relationship skills and a proactive/positive attitude; experience in mentoring and supporting managers or people in achieving optimum performance; strong knowledge of current Belgium and Netherlands employment law, procedures, processes, and a good understanding of key trends in the HR market; organisational & prioritisation skills with a pragmatic and commercial approach; to be a catalyst for change with adaptability, problem-solving skills and a 'can do' attitude.
