Your role and responsibilitiesABB is seeking an HR Business Partner for the Electrification Smart Power Division. Specifically, this role will provide strategic and operational HR expertise and guidance in the areas of HR & business strategy, culture change, organization design, leadership coaching, succession/pipeline planning, and talent assessment/engagement. You will establish credibility as a strategic partner, playing a consultative role to employees, managers, and leaders to manage growth. This is an on-site position based in Mebane, NC. This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power division in North America.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tEnsuring an effective overall HR contribution and value-add to the business in partnership with the functions and Shared Services.•\tSupporting the business and the execution of HR processes involved across the end-to-end employee lifecycle by determining and delivering the best approach in the area of responsibility and executing the HR priorities while adding value to the business.•\tPartnering with respective managers to develop and implement people strategies.•\tFacilitating change management initiatives and driving behavior change & continuous improvement across the respective business area / area of responsibility.
Qualifications for the roleBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Psychology, Business, or a related field. Master's degree preferred, but not required.Minimum of 8+ years of progressive HR business partnership experience, including manufacturing experience. PHR Certification preferred.Experience providing coaching and feedback to front line leaders.Experience managing talent acquisition for hourly and salaried employees.Experience with data analysis (Workday experience preferred).Solid knowledge of US employment law and HR Compliance.Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
