Job Title: HRIS Analyst
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced HRIS Analyst who will participate in compensation surveys, conduct research and analysis on market competitiveness, pay equity, and compensation trends. The role involves developing and maintaining job descriptions and job architecture, as well as administering, developing, and researching the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
Responsibilities
+ Participate in compensation surveys and conduct research on market competitiveness, pay equity, and compensation trends.
+ Evaluate jobs and develop and maintain job descriptions and job architecture.
+ Facilitate HRIS functions including Payroll, Company Maintenance, Learning Management, Talent Acquisition, and Performance Management.
+ Configure HRIS to meet business needs and generate reports to support HR functions including compensation, compliance, performance management, and workforce analytics.
+ Ensure accurate data processing and maintenance in accordance with organizational rules and applicable regulations.
+ Collaborate with the Human Resources team on program development and employee feedback to build user-friendly programs.
+ Maintain compliance with payroll and compensation management programs.
+ Ensure compliance with federal, state, IRS, wage, and hour laws and regulations.
+ Facilitate audits by providing necessary records and documentation.
+ Identify and recommend updates to payroll accounting software, systems, and procedures.
+ Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay updated on legislative changes impacting the business and communicate these changes to management and HR team.
+ Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to improve department efficiency.
+ Complete projects from beginning to end with minimal supervision.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, related
+ 5+ years of HRIS experience
+ Strong analytics experience, with a focus on finance rather than payroll/HR
+ Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and data formatting
+ Experience in HRIS data audits and implementing new processes
+ Monthly end headcount reporting and financial reporting for payroll accruals
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with Paycor and SAP is a plus
+ Payroll experience is a plus
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role with approximately 50% of the work conducted in the office and 50% remote. The standard working hours are from 8 am to 5 pm with a one-hour lunch break, offering some flexibility. You will report to the Finance Manager with a dotted line to HR, and you will work closely with the payroll group. The company processes bi-weekly payroll for 500 employees, which is largely automated.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
