Overview As the Human Resources Operations and Technology Compliance Senior, you will be responsible for ensuring that the HR solutions we deliver to our clients are compliant with relevant standards, laws, regulations, Gallagher internal policies, and best practices. You will work closely with HR solution technology and project teams, and employment compliance team, to identify, analyze, and mitigate compliance risks and issues. You will provide guidance and support to the HR function re: global technology and operations compliance-related matters to ensure that HR systems, data, workflows, and reports are accurate, secure, efficient and compliant. This position can be entirely virtual/remote/work from home and you can sit anywhere in the US. How you'll make an impact Review and evaluate compliance requirements and specifications for each solution and project. Design and implement compliance frameworks, policies, procedures, and controls for the solutions and projects. Conduct and/or participate in SOX/SOC and other compliance and security audits and report on findings and recommendations. Provide guidance and training on HRIS and IT project and process governance to solution teams and system or project stakeholders. Work closely with technology, HR operations, compliance, and internal/external auditors. Liaise with global divisional and regional HR or Business Leaders to ensure requests for new technology/technology expansion are properly evaluated and reviewed. Collaborate with solution architects, developers, testers, project managers, etc. to ensure that the solutions and projects are compliant throughout the lifecycle. Research and monitor the latest trends and developments in compliance standards, regulations, and best practices. Create process and system related compliance process narratives or statements of procedure that document changes within HR's technology landscape. Analyze HR systems and processes and identify gaps and risks in terms of compliance. Research and monitor changes and updates in the laws and regulations that affect HR operations and data. Participate in project steering and consult on development of HR system architecture, data models, and processes to comply with legal and business requirements. Provide guidance to technical and functional stakeholders to ensure HR system solutions and integrations are implemented and tested using the best practices and tools. Maintain and update the HR system documentation, policies and application inventory. Manage responses to non-compliance events immediately upon discovery, ensuring HR's response is complete, stakeholders are appropriately informed, and process owners implement mitigation to prevent future non-compliance events. Coordinate data breach events within HR technology with the Data Privacy Officer. Manage the application inventory and intake process for HR Technology. About You Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred 5+ years’ experience in HR system design and development, IT compliance, risk management, or governance Strong knowledge and understanding of compliance standards, regulations, and best practices, such as SOX, ISO, GDPR, PCI-DSS, CCPA, HIPAA, NIST, etc. Experience managing and participating in internal and external audit processes Strong analytical, organizational, administrative and project management skills, along with attention to detail Proficiency in HR system tools, platforms and processes Experience working in Oracle HCM Cloud and/or Certification in HR system compliance or related field preferred Experience managing global HR technology projects of significant size/scope Effectively communicate, persuade and/or influence internal and/or external customers at all levels on matters of a technical and/or complex nature Excellent relationship management skills; collaborative, diplomatic, approachable, solutions-oriented, flexible and assertive Fact-finding reasoning, inquisitive nature and ability to formulate questioning that uncovers details of situations Excellent communication and presentation skills #LI-DK3 #LI-Remote Compensation and benefits On top of a competitive salary, great teams and exciting career opportunities, we also offer a wide range of benefits.
