We are seeking a detailed oriented HRIS Data Administrator to join our Human Resource Information System (HRIS) team and play a key role in the day-to-day operations, data accuracy, testing, and overall support of our HR systems and processes. As a Human Resources Information Services Administrator... Your main responsibility will be to perform data entry and process batch uploads to ensure accurate and timely updates of data pertaining to new hires, terminations, transfers, education level changes, etc. You will validate data, identify potential errors, and acquire missing information to ensure the accurate and timely entry of data. Supervise and follow up on receipt of required paperwork including transcripts and signed approved forms, ensuring documents are uploaded/scanned into the employee's electronic file. You will participate in the development of business requirements, testing application changes and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures. You will process system updates to effect organizational changes. You will conduct I-9 audits, verification and reverification of new hires and staff. You will generate, review and provide staffing reports and respond to employment verifications. You will provide general administrative tasks for the Analytics and Applications group. A High school diploma with at least 5 or more years of experience with detailed HR administrative, accounting, mortgage processing or auditing record-keeping. Excellent customer service experience and communication skills to collaborate with multi-functional teams Demonstrable ability to understand operational procedures. Experience and a demonstrable ability to mentor and support others effectively. Experience creating and modifying spreadsheets and documents using Excel and Word. Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to handle highly confidential information in a professional manner. The referenced pay range is based on JHU APL’s good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level with consideration for internal parity. For salaried employees scheduled to work less than 40 hours per week, annual salary will be prorated based on the number of hours worked. APL may offer bonuses or other forms of compensation per internal policy and/or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be provided in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, locality allowance or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
