HRIS Implementation Manager

Job Description

One of the largest sustainability timber company is currently hiring for a HRIS Compensation Implementation Manager. This opportunity will be a hybrid schedule in Seattle, WA working Tuesday - Thursday onsite and Monday and Friday remote. This role will start off as a 2-year contract as they are on their 2nd out of 4 stages of the HRIS implementation project (currently on the Design Phase) and will move into Phase 3 (Data Validation and Data Cleanup).

Pay - $50/hr. - $55/hr.

Location - Seattle, WA (Tuesday - Thursday onsite, Monday and Friday remote)

Contract Duration - 24 Month Contract to Start

[Summary of Key Responsibilities]

[Data Collection and Analysis]

Collect, organize, and analyze compensation data from various sources including internal databases, market surveys, and industry reports.Conduct thorough analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to job roles, responsibilities, and compensation structures.

[Compensation Modeling]

Utilize compensation modeling techniques to develop new salary structures, pay bands, and incentive programs within the job architecture framework.Collaborate with stakeholders to validate and refine compensation models based on organizational objectives and budgetary constraints.

[Documentation and Communication]

Document findings, methodologies, and recommendations in clear and concise reports and presentations.Communicate insights and recommendations to key stakeholders including HR, sr. management, and other relevant teams.

[Qualification Requirements]

5-8 years of experience as a compensation specialist.[Must Have; Non-negotiable] HRIS Implementation experience. Experience handling at least one or two modules on HRIS Implementation that involves compensation change and/or payroll.The company is transitioning from PeopleSoft to UKG. Any implementation experience with either or is a big bonus but not required.Will be working with both Foundational Compensation (establishment of min/max compensation range and how it gets captured on the system) and Enhanced Compensation (where the system will offer special one-off bonuses or annual bonuses based on performance).Very strong analytical skills: ability to manipulate and interpret data and be able to arrive at conclusions which balance data findings and workforce strategies.Strong Excel proficiency required: ability to handle complex spreadsheets and Pivot Tables.Compensation experience in the manufacturing industry with a large hourly production workforce.Ability to work with a cross-section of internal customer groups to interpret requirements, quickly source information and data to meet those needs and provide direction.Ability to translate and communicate and technical compensation plans, translate trends, communicate strategies and principles, interpret current practices and explain how they align with strategies and principles.Ability to build thoughtful improvement through excellent problem-solving skills, root cause analysis, strong process orientation, and improvement planning of future compensation plans and strategies.Ability to accurately and accountably manage and organize complex data utilizing data analysis tools.

• Compensation is tied to the Colorado and Washington markets for jobs performed in Colorado and Washington. Other locations may be subject to variances based on location-related factors.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00
