Waste Connections, a leader in sustainability and waste management solutions, is seeking a skilled Integration Analyst to join our Workday/HRIS Team. This position is pivotal in supporting and enhancing our Workday platform, focusing on the design, development, and management of integrations and ensuring seamless functionality across systems.
Position Overview:
The Integration Analyst will be the subject matter expert in developing and maintaining both internal and external Workday integrations, including those for Human Capital Management (HCM). This role requires strong technical expertise and a collaborative mindset to solve complex integration challenges, partnering with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to deliver efficient and scalable solutions.
Responsibilities:
Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement Workday integrations.Design, build, test, and deploy Workday integration solutions using tools such as Studio, Enterprise Integration Builder (EIB), and Connectors.Perform risk analysis and lead impact assessments for release enhancements, change requests, and product upgrades.Collaborate with stakeholders to define integration requirements and ensure solutions align with business needs.Follow established data governance standards, ensuring high attention to data quality and security.Provide change management and go-live support for Workday upgrades, including creating and maintaining end-user training materials and job aids.Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.Stay up-to-date on Workday best practices and integration standards, contributing to ongoing process improvements.Manage multiple projects, prioritize competing demands, and meet deadlines.Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience relevant to the role.2-3 years of Workday-specific experience, including hands-on experience with Workday Integrations (Studio, EIB, Connectors, APIs, etc.).Strong understanding of the Workday data model and corporate system architecture.Experience with web services, APIs, and integration design, as well as relational database technologies.Proficiency in data transformation tools such as Excel, Access, SQL, etc.Experience with Advanced Reporting and Composite Reporting in Workday is a plus.Proven ability to work with complex datasets and deliver scalable integration solutions.Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to convey ideas and recommendations to diverse audiences.Experience working with third-party vendors and building effective relationships.Self-starter with the ability to work independently, as part of a team, and proactively manage tasks.Workday certifications are strongly preferred.What’s In It For You:
