Summary of Position
The Intern in the Information Technology department will assist the HRIS (Human Resource Information System) team by utilizing their technical skills in a
variety of functions ranging from maintenance on the ERP applications (SAP and WD), documentation management, dashboard development and custom application development. This internship also provides an opportunity to assist the team in supporting our large community of users.
Intern Duties & Responsibilities
+ System Support:
Troubleshoot basic issues with the HRIS, including login problems, data discrepancies, and system errors.
Assist in testing new updates and features within the HRIS.
Provide basic user training to employees on HRIS functionalities.
+ Reporting and Analysis:
Create and maintain standardized HR reports using data from the HRIS.
Develop data visualizations (charts, graphs) to effectively present findings to stakeholders.
+ Project Assistance:
Support the implementation of new HR technology tools or modules.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of dashboards and reporting systems.
Assist in data migration projects when necessary.
Desired Skills
1.- Knowledge of object-oriented programming
2.- Understand the API (application programming Interface) fundamentals,
3.- Understand the concept of Public Web service. Familiarity with SOAP (for API) and REST (for RaaS reports) service calls.
4.- Scripting language: JavaScript/Java, Python.
5.- Data formats: JSON and XML
6.- Transformation language XSLT
7.- SQL Database Knowledge
8.- Testing/debugging techniques
9.- Analytical Skills to design the ideal solution and investigate a problem.
Education
+ Currently enrolled at an accredited university/college as a Senior, Graduate Student, or recent Graduate
+ Preferred Majors: IT, Business Analytics, and Management Information Systems
+ GPA: 3.0
+ + Must be available to work in St. Petersburg, Florida from May 19, 2025 – Aug 8, 2025
