The HRIS oversees HR administration, managing the employee lifecycle, ensuring legal compliance, and supporting the development and implementation of HR policies.
You will help to drive efficiency, automation and self-serve through the progression of our People systems roadmap and ensure the People Team and the wider business have access to accurate and insightful data to help support decision making.
In addition, this role will be the lead for UK total reward and manage our reward cycle, reporting and forecasting.
The HRIS will work closely with the People team and senior leadership to improve people practices and support the organisation’s commitment to being a great place to work.
Location: This is a hybrid role with the ideal candidate being located within a reasonable commuting distance from our headquarters in Middlesbrough. However, we may also consider candidates who are based within a reasonable distance of any of our other Fedcap offices, provided they meet the necessary requirements. Key Responsibilities
Deliver People Operations with a deep focus on customer service, employee experience, operational excellence and continuous improvement Provide leadership, guidance, and support to team members. Foster a positive work environment and encourage professional development. Track and report on team performance metrics. Identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions. Lead projects from inception to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Own and manage the employee experience to enable the ‘moments that matter’ during the employee lifecycle and providing a personalised and responsive first line support and guidance. Lead our people processing and administration services, ensuring process accuracy and efficiency. Drive our systems roadmap, helping us to become more effective and efficient and enabled through automation and self-serve. Produce reports and analyse data to provide robust insights to the People Team and wider business, helping to inform decision making. Own reward and recognition for the company, progressing our reward and recognition initiatives and managing our reward cycles, systems, process and governance. Work closely with our payroll team to ensure our people are paid and rewarded smoothly. Provide robust governance, quality and data integrity oversight for the People Team. Support and work collaboratively with Director of People and other stakeholders on the setting and delivery of the People Strategy. Thorough understanding of UK reward landscape and best practice Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices. Proficiency in HRIS management and HR data analysis. Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to resolving issues and improving processes. People-focused and empathetic, with a commitment to delivering high-quality HR services and supporting employees.
