The HRIS Manager is responsible for leading the management, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) within the organization. This role ensures that the HRIS operates effectively, supports HR and business processes, and provides critical insights through data analysis. The HRIS Manager collaborates with HR, IT, and external vendors to optimize system performance, manage upgrades, and ensure data integrity.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Oversee day-to-day management of HRIS, ensuring the system is up-to-date and operating efficiently.
+ Lead HRIS implementations, system upgrades, and enhancements while coordinating with IT, HR, and external vendors.
+ Ensure HR data is accurately maintained, updated, and complies with data security and privacy standards.
+ Supervise and guide a team of one direct report, providing mentorship, feedback, and development opportunities.
+ Delegate responsibilities effectively, ensuring timely completion of tasks and alignment with organizational goals.
+ Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and team updates to foster a collaborative and high-performing environment.
+ Work with HR teams to identify and streamline processes within the HRIS to improve productivity and user experience.
+ Lead system configuration and customization to meet organizational needs.
+ Oversee the development and generation of HR-related reports to support business decisions and ensure compliance.
+ Analyze HR data trends and provide actionable insights for leadership.
+ Ensure data accuracy and consistency across the system.
+ Provide training and support to HR staff and end-users on HRIS functionalities and best practices.
+ Act as the primary point of escalation for system-related issues, while empowering the team to handle day-to-day troubleshooting.
+ Ensure the HRIS complies with relevant labor laws, data privacy regulations, and company policies.
+ Collaborate with IT and security teams to safeguard sensitive HR data.
+ Manage relationships with external HRIS vendors, ensuring they meet service level agreements and provide necessary support.
+ Lead negotiations for contracts, renewals, and system enhancements with vendors.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Pay range for this position is $117,000-$135,000 annual salary.
10% Bonus Potential.
**Qualifications**
**Education:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
+ 5+ years of experience managing HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, ADP, etc.).
+ 2+ years of experience supervising or leading a team.
+ Strong understanding of HR processes and data management principles.
+ Proven leadership and team development abilities.
+ Excellent project management and organizational skills.
+ Ability to analyze and interpret data to make informed decisions.
+ Proficiency in reporting tools and data analytics.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ HR certifications (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent).
+ Experience with HRIS system implementations or upgrades.
+ Proficiency in SQL, Excel, or other data management and reporting tools.
