HRIS Manager
Description We are in search of an HR Manager to join our team situated in Midlothian, Virginia. The primary function of this role involves ensuring HR compliance with legal requirements, maintaining HR Handbook, handling full lifecycle recruiting, managing onboarding and offboarding of employees, and coordinating training among others. This role operates within the industry and is not subject to any specific type of employment. Responsibilities: • Upholding HR compliance with all legal requirements and government reporting regulations impacting human resources functions • Maintaining and updating the HR Handbook as necessary • Handling the full lifecycle of recruiting, including drafting job descriptions, advertisements, recruiting, selecting, and interviewing potential candidates with Management • Overseeing onboarding and offboarding of employees, including new employee orientations, exit interviews, final checks, and notification to benefit providers • Keeping thorough records of employee data: promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting • Coordinating or conducting training on interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance management, performance review, and sexual harassment • Assisting in maintaining OSHA compliance • Resolving employee relations issues, including handling EEOC complaints and other employee relations problems • Acting as the first point of contact regarding policies, procedures, and programs • Administering benefits programs such as life, health, dental, and disability insurances, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance • Coordinating with marketing to create press releases and news articles relative to the new hires in the company • Processing bi-monthly payroll and ensuring 401(k) & HSA contributions • Maintaining and providing total company headcount and yearly hiring projections • Partnering with the Executive team and Managers to provide pay ranges for current and upcoming job positions to ensure market competitive rates • Assisting in developing and maintaining an employee recognition program. Requirements • Must possess expertise in Core HR systems and operations • Proficiency in 'About Time' software is required • Should have substantial experience in auditing HR processes and systems • Needs to demonstrate a deep understanding of benefit functions within HR • Must be well-versed in compliance regulations and laws relating to HR systems • Should be adept at data entry with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail • Experience with UKG Ready software is mandatory Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
