HRIS Specialist
Position Summary + The HRIS Specialist is responsible for assisting in the analysis, maintenance, design, and implementation of system-wide Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) programs and policies. This role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of HR data while supporting HR functions through system enhancements, reporting, and troubleshooting. The specialist collaborates with HR, IT, and business teams to optimize HRIS processes and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making. Primary Position Responsibilities + Develop, maintain and enhance custom reports and dashboards. Generation of HR Metrics regarding compliance, staffing, vacancy, FTEs, turnover, retention, etc. Support HR and business units with ad hoc reporting needs, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery. + HRIS functions include database management and technical maintenance related to HR System, Timekeeping, Position Management and Performance Management systems. Collaborates with other Human Resources and Development staff appropriately to ensure consistency and accuracy of information. + Implement workflow automation and system enhancements to improve HR process efficiency. Develop and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, workflows, and user procedures. Maintain ongoing documentation of system updates, configurations, and enhancements. + Manage assigned integrations between UKG Pro and third-party systems. Partner with IT and external vendors to design, test, and implement new integrations that support HR business functions. Monitor and maintain integration schedules, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across systems. + Assist in the analysis, design, and implementation of HRIS programs, identifying opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements. Collect, validate, and prepare HR data for system migration, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Participate in system testing and quality assurance to ensure proper functionality before system updates or roll-outs. Ensure data integrity by conducting regular audits, troubleshooting errors, and implementing data validation measures. Keeps staff informed of current problems/issues. + Provide WFM support to the Advanced Scheduling application and other system enhancements as initiated. + Other duties as assigned. Qualifications + Minimum Education : + Required: + Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Management, Business, Management Information Systems, Statistics or related area + Preferred: + Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Management Information Systems, Business Management, Statistics or related area + Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation) : + Required: + Two years of Human Resources experience with Human Resources Information Systems + Preferred: + Three years of Human Resources experience in HRIS, Analytics and Compensation + License, Registry or Certification : + Required: + None + Preferred: + SHRM Certification CP or SCP + Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities : + Required: + Human Resources data management experience + Superior skills in extracting, analyzing and compiling data for statistical reports to be presented to leadership + Ability to handle multiple large assignments and projects simultaneously + Accuracy and attention to detail + Excellent organization, presentation and communication skills + Excel and Google Suite experience + Preferred: + Ability to create custom reports using UKG Pro Business Intelligence + UKG Pro HR/Payroll and/or UKG WFM Timekeeping/Advanced Scheduling system experience
