Job Summary:

The HRIT Manager is responsible for overseeing the management, integrity, and security of our human resources systems and data. This position plays a critical role in working with the Workday Product Support Team, HR Leaders, and IT Leaders to ensure that the HRIT applications are developed, procured and supported through the technology lifecycle
 

What You Will Do:

Oversee Enterprise-Wide Projects: Oversee enterprise-wide HR application projects which include development, installation, and maintenance of application programs- solutions and hardware.

Application Strategy: Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on HR applications in the industry. Analyze and provide strategy regarding applications to ensure that all systems that are developed meet business needs and specifications.

HRIT Portfolio Roadmap Management: Develop, maintain, and communicate the HRIT portfolio roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic initiatives. Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize projects, manage timelines, and ensure successful implementation of HRIT solutions.

Process Improvement: Continuously assess and optimize internal HRIT processes. Identify opportunities to streamline data collection, entry, and reporting procedures.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with HR leaders, IT teams, legal departments, and other relevant stakeholders to align data management practices with our business’ needs.

Data Governance: In conjunction with the HR Division Compliance Manager- develop and implement data governance strategies and policies for HR data, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

Data Security and Compliance: Ensure HR data protection and compliance with relevant data privacy regulations such as GDPR and other applicable laws. Work with stakeholders to establish and enforce data access controls and security measures.

Staff Development: Maximize staff contribution through professional growth and development, to increase teamwork and more effectively meet business needs.

Quality Standards: Monitor and maintain adherence and compliance to quality standards on an ongoing basis.

What You Have:

Knowledge of HR business processes and data privacy policies and procedures.

Knowledge of Workday HCM and the Workday ecosystem.

Familiarity with cloud based solutions – ServiceNow, Salesforce, etc

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Business Acumen: Knowledge of HR business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.

Information Technology Trends: Knowledge of HRIT marketplace experience, developments, and trends related to the organization's use of Information Technology (IT); ability to apply knowledge of IT appropriately to benefit the organization.

Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

Continuous Transformation: Knowledge of evolving the business to remain competitive; ability to understand, adapt oneself to, respond to, and proactively seek changes and innovation in the business environment to improve the competitive advantage of an organization.

Talent Management: Knowledge of the critical competencies required to achieve intended results; ability to generate consistent approaches for hiring, selection, retaining, and leveraging talent across the organization.

Additional Info:

This position would ideally be located in East Peoria-IL, Dallas-TX, Nashville-TN.

MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE TO THIS LOCATION AND Work out of the office 3 times a week.

This position may require 10% travel.

Summary Pay Range:

$156,000.00 - $234,000.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
