HRP Manager, Amazon Delivery
The AD HR Partner Manager role guides a team of HR Partners to deliver results at the highest level for our business. Our HR Partners are known for their knowledge of HR programs, processes and tools and their ability to work across a portfolio of businesses. They act as the front-line consultant to people managers to create a positive employee experience, offering consistent HR advice on people matters.

The HRP Manager will need to establish appropriate mechanisms, monitor team performance against objectives, assist the team with their daily and project work, as well as support with complex cases resolution.

This role would manage the HRP function for the US and report to the Sr Manager, HR.


Key job responsibilities
The HRP Manager Role will be responsible for managing HRP teams supporting AD Managers in the US.
1. Review assigned queries: Monitor the assigned queries to the team members, ensure efficient division of domain areas. Focus on improving response SLAs and enhancing the customer experience
2. Drive efficiencies and Improvements: Working with partners, lead initiatives to improve processes such as query resolution, employee engagement, and data reporting. Strive for continuous improvements and efficiency gains
3. Enhance Data Reporting: Increase the volume and quality of data reports produced by the team. Use these reports to monitor organizational health and provide actionable recommendations for improvement
4. Strengthen Manager Capability: Develop and implement mechanisms and programs to enhance the manager capability within AD organization
5. Promote Automation and Process Improvement: Set and achieve goals for the HRP team to drive automation and process improvements
6. Hire and Develop Talent: Hire and nurture strong HR professionals (HRPs) to support the business effectively
7. Develop Subject Matter Expertise (SME): Build SME capabilities within the team to enable scalability and better support
8. Create customer mechanisms: Initiate and conduct mechanisms viz. Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) etc. to stay connected with local HR leaders and HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to share insights across common and business-specific areas

Additionally, the manager may perform a hands on role as an HR Partner, key responsibilities will include:
• Local Expertise: Serve as the local expert for site-specific requests, including policies and labor law changes.
• Performance Management: Support frontline managers in handling performance management cases
• Employee Relations: Assist in employee relations processes, advising managers on people matters requiring knowledge of policies, procedures, and local legislation
• Employee Engagement: Manage employee engagement programs and help managers create action plans to drive improvements
• Change Management: Provide tools, frameworks, and support to HR Business Partners and Business Managers for change initiatives and execute change plans locally
• Talent Management: Support the talent management process by developing toolkits and communications that enable managers to be self-sufficient
• Training and Development: Enhance the success of new and experienced managers by leveraging, delivering, and improving existing training content
• Career Development: Coach and support frontline managers in conducting career development conversations
• Cultural Stewardship: Act as a steward of the employee experience and uphold Amazon's culture
• Program Management: Serve as the point of contact and program manager for people tools, processes, programs, or projects, managing their implementation and review
• Collaboration: Work with other HR Business Partners on key HR projects and initiatives critical to the site/region, such as introducing new policies or benefits
• Data Analysis: Analyze data and trends across the organization, highlighting observations and recommending solutions as appropriate
