Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline in the upstream oil and gas sector from a recognized university. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry, with a proven track record in a similar role. OSHA International Certification is mandatory. Experience with SIMOPS (Simultaneous Operations). Computer literacy and excellent command of the English language (reading, writing, and speaking). Strong ability to prioritize, multitask, and remain resilient under pressure. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks and the ability to work independently. Key Responsibilities – Not Limited To: Safety Oversight: Support the EPRS Division in implementing robust HSE systems and processes to ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance across all emergency pipeline repair lifecycle activities. Contractor Compliance: Monitor contractors’ adherence to approved HSE procedures, ensuring alignment with company standards and regulatory requirements. Risk Assessment & Safety Planning: Develop and review safety plans, participate in HAZOPs, HAZIDs, and other risk assessments, and close out identified issues effectively. Onsite Safety Leadership: Champion safety awareness and performance onsite, providing guidance and oversight during all project phases. HSES Audits & Training: Deliver HSES-related training, maintain accurate records, and conduct assurance audits for EPRS contractors and consultants. Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with EPRS discipline engineers to enhance HSE processes and implement improvement initiatives. Incident Preparedness: Oversee emergency preparedness and response protocols, ensuring a proactive approach to potential risks.
