As an HSE Engineer II-Safety here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for ensuring the highest standards of health and safety for our employees, compliance with environmental regulations, and the implementation of best practices in engineering-related safety. Your expertise in risk assessment, incident investigation, and regulatory compliance will enable us to mitigate potential hazards and maintain a safe working environment.

You will report directly to our Director HSE and you'll work 100% onsite at our Phoenix, AZ location.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

\n\nImplementing and maintaining company policies adhering to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety regulations.\nInvolvement in the design and development of facilities, work areas and work procedures and making environmental, health and safety recommendations accordingly\nResponsible for preparing, maintaining, and updating Health Safety & Environmental policy and procedure manuals\nEnsuring compliance with all environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeping abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization\nServing as a contact with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies\nHaving knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field\nWorks under immediate supervision of the Phoenix Engines HSE&F Leader\n\n\n\nU.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

\n\n2+ years of experience in Health & Safety practice\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n\n

\nBachelor's degree in Safety Management or similarManufacturing industry experience, preferredExperience with OSHA safety regulationsExperience with supporting safety programs (LOTO, machine guarding, electrical safety, PPE, hot work, confined space entry, fall protection, etc)Experience with Industrial Hygiene PracticesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel, Access and Visio\n
