Walsh is currently seeking a HSE Lead Trainer for our project on the Brent Spence Bridge in Cincinnati, OH.
The HSE Lead Trainer provides support, education, training, and coaching services to project teams to help achieve compliance with established HSE Programs and federal, state, and local regulations.

Make recommendations for modifications and implement in alignment with HSE leadership.Coordinates with the project team to setup a training schedule and communicate with HSE leadership.Meet with project teams to provide educational and training services.Submits weekly report outlining items such as weekly progress, challenges encountered, employee engagements.Conduct site safety audits to maintain familiarity with the tasks, operations, and phases of work in the field. Remains informed of federal, state, and local regulations as needed to maintain knowledge level. Analyze data from the project and current events with the HSE Team to develop and maintain training modulesAdministers training reports to ensure training expectations are being met and to identify training needs.Ability to conduct orientations, task training, authorized person training, competent person, and qualified person training. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Health, or Educational disciplines, or combination in technical training and relevant experience. CIT, CHST, SMS, or CSP through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals preferred. OSHA 500 and American Heart Association CPR/AED/First Aid Trainer preferred or able to obtain.5-10 years of experience developing and performing HSE training.Knowledgeable with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Confident and comfortable public speaker with the ability to build trust and captivate an audience. Strong oral and written communications. Ability to work as a team with a strong desire to help others. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.The Walsh Group offers competitive wages and benefits, including:
