Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role you will have the opportunity to lead a team of HSE experts. Each day, you will make sure the team keeps developing capabilities and skills, supporting the business in the implementation of policies, practices and programs. You will also showcase your expertise by driving behavioral change and HSE learning within the organization. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tServes as the primary HSE interface within their assigned area of responsibility and cultivates a high-performance culture with a strong focus on HSE.•\tAssists the line managers and supervisors in their respective organization in understanding their obligations, liabilities, and requirements for role fulfillment, as per local HSE law and ABB management requirements.•\tEnsures that HSE capabilities are optimized and aligned to standards, processes, guidelines, and best practices.•\tEnsures that the appropriate HSE-related equipment and tools are available and used effectively.•\tOversees HSE risk assessment conducted by the line management and ensures all necessary preventive measures against the identified hazards are implemented.•\tEnsures the HSE incidents are reported to the management and relevant stakeholders and takes appropriate actions.•\tDrives behavioral change through the local implementation of group-wide and business-specific performance improvement programs and practices.•\tEmbeds an exemplary health and safety culture and a strong focus on the environment across their respective organization.•\tReports HSE performance and progress with respect to the implementation of the group-level HSE objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), as required.•\tParticipates in determining the annual budget for their own area of responsibility and is accountable for managing performance against agreed financial targets.•\tDrives HSE-related learning across the organization for continuous improvement.•\tEnsures feedback is provided to the management and employees on lessons learned and best practices from within their own unit and across ABB.

Ability to motive and develop people\tResult-orientated and high responsibility on the tasks.\tStrong ability on problem solving.
