Job Description
This client is looking for a HSE manager to be able to maintain and provide safety standards. This postion requires to work in a manufacturing shop and in the office. Looking over a large facility with over 100+ employees.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain the company’s safety policies and procedures in compliance with OHSA rules and regulations.Plan and implement safety training programs for managers and employees.Promote a learning culture to reduce HSSE risks and ensure a safe work environment.Compile monthly safety tracking data reports for management.Complete and investigate all accident/injury/incident reports.Conduct regular training on HSSE-related topics.Support implementation of environmental and sustainability practices.Stay updated on changes to environmental and safety legislation.Advise and update HSSE Policy and Safe Working Methods.Facilitate incident investigations.Participate in HSSE workplace and environmental inspections.Practice safe work habits and comply with all relevant policies and regulations.Ensure compliance with safety requirements at all levels.Facilitate task safety analyses for equipment purchases.Conduct area HSSE inspections to report on policy compliance.Assist in the development and administration of health, safety, and emergency plans.Administer first aid and coordinate medical services for injuries.Essential SkillsEHS managementExperience in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of ISO 9000 standardsStrong communication and soft skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Environmental, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related fieldFive years of experience in a related position within a manufacturing environmentExperience in rubber manufacturing is preferredWhy Work Here?Enjoy internal company benefits after 4-5 months (Aerotek also offers benefits). Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $82235.20 - $123352.80
