Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor the project-specific HSE management plan, in alignment with Bureau Veritas' HSE standards and client requirements. Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and observations to identify and address HSE hazards and non-conformances. Provide HSE training and awareness programs for all personnel on-site, including contractors and subcontractors. Investigate and report on all incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and ensure appropriate corrective and preventive actions are taken. Maintain accurate and up-to-date HSE records, documentation, and reporting, in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Coordinate and liaise with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders on HSE-related matters. Promote a positive HSE culture and encourage active participation from all project personnel. Provide technical advice and support to the project team on HSE-related issues. Ensure the proper use, storage, and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety equipment. Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable HSE laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
University degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., occupational health and safety, environmental management, engineering) Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an HSE Officer or HSE Supervisor in the construction or renewable energy industry Certified as an IOSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent HSE professional Proficient in the use of HSE management software and data analysis tools Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a team and collaborate with diverse stakeholders Fluency in English and the local language(s) of the project site
