HUB HSE Manager, IAEN Americas

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance in your assigned area of responsibility to cultivate a high-performance culture with a strong focus on HSE. Each day, you will support the business by applying in-depth HSE knowledge and offering solutions and advice. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring effective risk management through HSE excellence along the ABB value chain.The work model for the role is hybrid.This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries division. You will be mainly accountable for:•Reporting HSE incidents to the management and relevant stakeholders and taking appropriate actions.•Facilitating, assisting, and providing guidance on incident investigations to learn better ways for mitigating risks.•Providing feedback to the management and employees on lessons learned and best practices from within their own unit and across ABB.•Supporting and driving behavioral change through the local implementation of group-wide and business-specific performance improvement programs and practices.Our team dynamics You will join a dynamic, talented, high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Safety Engineering, or related area 8+ years of HSE Management experience preferred, but not required Working experience with ISO 45001 compliant management systems, related certifications are a plusPrevious experience with management of electrical safety, facilities, and contractor safety programs preferredBlended role, 2 days/week working with the team in the Westchase and Sugarland offices with field visits and some travel required. Remote work from home partial only.Accreditations as a Safety Professional valuedCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
