Weatherford is seeking an experienced and dedicated HSE Advisor to join our HSE Team based out of our Houston, Tx facility. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures. Your expertise will ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, while promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across our operations. + Provide training and guidance to employees on HSE matters, including emergency response procedures, proper use of personal protective equipment, and handling of hazardous materials. + Assist with the investigation of incidents and accidents, including data collection, analysis, and report compilation. + Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics, such as accident and incident rates, near-miss reporting, and environmental performance indicators. + Collaborate with the HSE Team to develop and implement HSE improvement plans and initiatives. + Act as a knowledgeable resource for employees, providing guidance and support on HSE-related matters. **Travel Requirement** Although this is a shop based role, there may be required domestic and potentially international travel of up to 10%. + Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field preferred. + 5-7 years of experience in an HSE role preferred + Comprehensive knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including OSHA regulations and environmental permits. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, to include Executive Level management. + Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations. + Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
