HSE Supervisor

The HSE Supervisor will be responsible for supporting the Global HSE Team in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures. This includes providing training and guidance to employees on HSE matters. The role will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting on HSE performance, as well as ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
Responsibilities:
Investigate and complete the close-out process of all Accident Investigation Reports and prepare/submit lessons learnt to the Regional HSE Manager for promulgation to the management Monitor and report on HSE performance, including tracking and analysing metrics such as accident and incident rates, near-miss reporting, and environmental performance Attend pre-job, planning and client meetings when required on HSE-related matters. Support the department on the implementation of company-wide HSE initiatives. Support the HSE Manager in ensuring HSE compliance at various sites and offices bases. Ensure that all sites in the company comply with the governmental requirements of the State to ensure that no violations or fines are imposed on the company in respect of occupational safety and health. Support the development and implementation of HSE policies and procedures, including contributing to the development of HSE training materials Work with the HSE Team to develop and implement HSE improvement plans and initiatives Act as a resource for employees on HSE matters, providing guidance and support as needed Provide training and guidance to employees on HSE matters, including emergency response procedures, the proper use of personal protective equipment, and the handling of hazardous materials Conduct HSE training and orientation for all new employees. Ensure training, toolbox meetings, and drills are implemented as part of the company’s construction site training and HSE program, i.e. emergency response systems, etc. Support HSE personnel in developing the worksite’s HSE campaigns and good practices
Required:
6+ years of experience in an HSE role in O&G sector preferable Upstream OSHA general and construction-Introduction HSE Standards and regulations. IOSH MANAGING SAFETLY. NEBOSH IGC. Risk Assessment/Management. Lifting Competent Person/supervisor. Advanced Firefighting Advanced First Aid Advanced H2S BOSIET-TBOSIET OPITO APPROVED Defensive driving Environmental Awareness ISO 45001 ISO 14001 You must be eligible to work in Libya without requiring a visa

HAZCOM and HAZMAT advanced training Energy Isolation advanced NEBOSH incident investigation-equivalent
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, science or a related science field
