Job Overview
Execute, analyze, propose the HSE operational control required for risks and impacts on site processes. Executes controls for legal, corporate and other compliance, associated with the site and promotes that the areas maintain their associated responsibility.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1 Maintain operational compliance with legal requirements, group HSE requirements, and other requirements applicable to the site.
2 Keep the information associated with legal requirements updated (logs, records, reports); analyze the information to identify improvement actions.
3 Apply Company HSE standards on site and monitor compliance with each control associated with them.
4 Know and apply company HSE tools, methods and reference systems on site.
5 Execute the risk and impact assessment, providing support to all areas, identifying and monitoring the necessary reduction actions.
6 Keep the hazard and aspects matrix updated, follow-up on established controls and action plans.
7 Ensures the operational control defined for each process, provides support and maintains HSE rituals in each area.
8 Executes HSE Gemba Walks (OJTs on the floor, PPE, HSE COPs, QRQC N1 and N2, inspections)
9 Execution, treatment and monitoring of the annual IGPs plan, as well as the identified deviations.
10 Collect, record and ensure closure of HSE Alerts (@LL-HSE) on the site.
11 Participates in accident investigations, uses methods to analyze causes; proposes and implements corrective actions (RPOs, 8Ds).
12 Provides PPE to staff, keeps inventory up to date.
13 Communicate, disseminate and enforce the SGHSE (Includes: Retex, STOPs, Weekly Diffusion, OJTs)
14 Carry out training with HSE topics, in all required modalities (internal staff, visitors, suppliers and contractors).
15 Provides support and support in document management, provides improvements, updates as required in relation to the SGHSE.
16 Maintains the reports under his/her responsibility and ensures the HSE metrics at each level in a timely manner (e.g.: Pyramid, Environmental Report, others)
17 Participates in HSE improvement project and with other areas (KAIZEN, PDCAs, DMDs)
18 Support in the coordination and supervision of In-house services under the responsibility of HSE.
19 Review the correct state and operation of the systems for prevention and emergency response.
20 Take an active part in brigade training sessions, promotes emergency drills, and belongs to a specific brigade.
21 Perform authorization and verification of Hazardous and non-standard Work within the site.
22 Perform the validation of HSE competencies required by personnel in their different scopes (DC-3, deputized OJT, others).
23 Request the purchases required in the area and follow up on the corresponding billing.
24 Provide support to interns' residency projects.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
Description
1 HSE Legal Framework applicable to the site.
2 Company HSE standards and their requirements.
3 Identification, Evaluation and Control of risks and impacts (Analysis tools)
4 Knowledge of Chemical Substances, Explosive Atmospheres, Asbestos, Confined Spaces, Ergonomics, Hazardous Work.
5 Event investigation methods (5W's+H, 8D's, Root cause).
6 Technical specifications of personal protective equipment, emergency equipment and devices, machinery and operational equipment.
7 Integrated Management Systems ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO 50001, ISO 19110, ISO 9001, Responsible Sourcing
8 Industrial hygiene
9 Environmental control
10 Emergency management (including chemical emergencies)
11 Identification, Evaluation and Control of risks and impacts (Analysis tools)
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE
1 Business vision focused on HSE
2 Mandatory and voluntary certification processes
3 Communication and training processes.
4 Control of invoices and purchasing processes
5 Improvement tools.

Key Responsibilities
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree - Environmental, Chemistry, Industrial, Biology or Related
Experience:
1 to 3 years in similar positions
Required Certifications
HSE Legal requirements
Certification as an internal instructor / Internal auditor in SE management systems
Pay Details: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
